 2021 Annual Report

We started last year with the conviction that our 75th year as a church was going to be our best year.  Now that the year is over, we can look back and all agree, IT WAS!  It was remarkable in many ways and we want to make sure that Jesus gets all the Glory.  Please stop and reflect and thank God for each of these testimonies:

  • We gave away over 1.2 million pounds of food through Farmers to Families

  • We gave two $10,000 gifts to Haven Pregnancy Center and Options

  • We announced a $10,000 adoption grant to help families in our church care for orphans

  • We were awarded a $170,000 grant from the US Government to teach Abstinence to teenagers

  • We had our highest attended Easter service ever

  • We had our highest attended, non-holiday Sunday ever

  • We had our highest attended Christmas Eve service ever

  • We gave our highest amount ever to Kingdom Builders

  • Our teenagers gave their highest Kingdom Builders amount ever

  • We had our highest year of tithing ever

  • We started supporting nine new missionaries and Christian non-profits

  • We are feeding 67 kids a month through Feed One

  • Total, we gave $239,357.67 total in our missions, and Kingdom Builders

  • And most exciting of all, we water baptized 58 people!

We thank Jesus for everything He did for us and through us in 2021.  2021 was the best year our church has ever had.  We believe that Restoration Church is going to have its best year, every year moving forward.

Just One More,

WE HEARD AMAZING
TESTIMONIES

This year we had so many amazing things happen In peoples lives.
We cant show them all, but here are a few!

SARA FLOWERS

I had lost my way with God after having a not so good experience at a different church. I had found myself angry and hurt. During my years of not believing I got into a lot of bad things and found myself with 2 kids and recovering from a drug addiction. I was very unhappy with my life and what I was doing with it. My mom found restoration church and had started asking me to go. I would always say no but then she eventually asked if she could at least take my kids. I said that was fine because I wanted them to form their own opinions. One day my mom asked me again if I would go with her, I was going through a tough time with my oldest sons father and decided “fine I’ll go just to make her feel better and why not its worth a shot” I remember it so clearly because the sermon was about how your past does not define you, that all your sins god has taken care of and you are made new with him. By the end of the service, I was in tears and had given my life to God. I felt this instant lift of pressure off me. I am so grateful for this church family and have created so many strong connections. I feel closer to God than I ever have before.

ALISSA & JOSH PATTEN

This year has been a huge blessing to Josh and I to be able to be consistent with what we were hoping to give for Kingdom Builders. We gave more than the year before. We planned for what we would give for Miracle Offering, and it was going to be a bit of a stretch for us. But we had it all ready to go Miracle Offering Sunday, and we were both so excited. But as we sat there and listened to the sermon, I began to feel unsettled about the amount we were going to give, but God wasn’t telling me any different number. So I asked Josh to pray about it, and see what He says. We decided to double our number, which was already uncomfortable in the first place. The next week we both get Covid and lost two weeks of work. I was so panicked about it because of how much we gave, and Pastor Stephen told me “just wait and see how God provides for you through this”. Sure enough…within the next few weeks we had received groceries, meals, cash gifts from my clients, higher tips, and sick pay that we never had. We were gifted with 100% of what we gave to Miracle Offering. We were able to pay all of our bills, and still bless people with gifts for Christmas.

COLLIER COLEMAN

To start I guess I had a pretty standard early life, the only real connection to god that I had was my grandparents. I had a lot of battles throughout my life, my family has been plagued by very addictive personalities. All the men in my family going back to my great-great-grandfather had all been alcoholics… the nasty kind too. My father stopped drinking by the time I was 17 and that was great, but it had a lasting impression and impact on my life. I had become addicted to a lot of things at way too early of an age and some of it had been very damaging. My mental health was awful, I was constantly hiding my pain from others because I cared about people too much, I didn’t want them to see me as a broken object or a burden. Through the years of my life, I’ve been improving on my mental health, maturing, and realizing it’s important to show yourself love to show others love. A couple of months ago one of my best friends, Madison McKay, asked me to come to church. I didn’t think anything of it at first since I was just going to go to help out with the broadcast team and nothing else. Needless to say, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people of the church. In a brief moment while at church I decided I wanted to start making myself better, to start curbing some of my addictive habits and working to find my inner self. A couple of weeks in on helping out with broadcast, a guest speaker came in and I had my first experience with god. The topic at the time was talking about feeling a “nudge” from God, and the speaker (Ty Buckingham) had asked everyone in service to nudge the person next to them, and I swore I felt a spiritual nudge from behind me. I felt so drawn to everything that was being said that day, and I felt the Holy Spirit energize myself and the room, and it truly felt like weights were being lifted off my shoulder. I remember a thought filled my mind and it was as if it was placed there by Jesus because in a way it didn’t sound like my thought. “Go talk to them, tell them what you know” and I remember feeling the absolute importance of talking to Pastor Jeremy. That was the day I gave my life to Jesus, and it’s been amazing... since the day I’ve been able to cut off my addictions cold turkey.
